Liwan Creatives is an organization based in Gothenburg, Sweden. We mainly work with the youths. It is a space for creative projects.
Liwan Creatives is a space for people to come together and be creative or just try something new. Here in Liwan, we encourage people's talents. It is also a space to meet new friends and learn.
Most projects are within music, dance, photography and events but we are always open for other suggestions. We also have a youtube channel where we showcase our projects.
We all are based in Sweden but we came from different cultures and backgrounds. Therefore we also aim to showcase different cultures (mainly pop cultures) from different countries.
What does Liwan mean?
The name Liwan is taken from a Filipino word called "Liwanag" which means "Light" or "Shine bright". It is our goal to bring light to people through our projects the same way it brings light to us who make them.
Angelique is the founder of Liwan Creatives. She has 10 years of experience in event planning and project management. She has also experience in songwriting, music producing, photography and film making. In her free time she writes a lot and also paints and draw.
"I've always loved creating and through out the years I've done lots of projects. I'd like to encourage everyone, specially the younger generation to not be afraid to try something and to just be creative without putting too much pressure on themselves."
